What Huck’s up to …

I’m currently reworking my entire blog for a relaunch in 2024. My content was leaning more toward collecting diecast cars rather than diecast customs, dioramas and scale models. I plan to keep all the old content, but in 2024 I’ll be posting on a reduced schedule, most likely twice a month.

Leading up to the relaunch, I’ll be posting a lot of placeholder pages for link lists, video tutorial links to YouTube, etc. So, things will be a little unorganized here for the next couple of months. There will also be a few place holder pages for two of my favorite side projects, knotting and origami.

Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary

I've been looking for this set for a while now. I'm not having much luck with it in the wild. I'm going to have to expand my search to Dothan or Montgomery. My local stores almost never stock special sets.

Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary

Another set I'm on the hunt for. I'd like to have this set in my collection without having to resort to buying from scalpers. The high cost from scalpers and shipping costs would make the set too expensive to purchase. I may never find this in the wild.
