Bookshelf

I’ve got a pretty wide range of books on Knotting in my library. The books also cover a pretty wide range in skill level for people interested in pursuing the art of he sailor. From time to time, I’ll do a book review from a selection on my bookshelf. In the reviews, I’ll cover the what level of skill (deck hand, crew member, ordinary sailor and able sailor) a person needs to get the most out of the book, the topics covered in the book as well as any other background – such as knotting history, anecdotes and any other prevalent details the author focuses on.

The Ashley Book of Knots is considered the ultimate knotting reference.
