Plans for 2023

Well, I’m pretty excited about 2023 finally rolling around. I kicked off BoondockBight.com last year, but I really didn’t have any plans for it. I really just wanted to secure the rights to the domain name. During 2022, I spent a good deal of time working on improving my modeling and painting skills, and a lot of research and planning for some projects in 2023.

I also developed a content plan for BoondockBight.com as well as a few ideas for social media, Instagram in particular.

This will be a busy year for BoondockBight.com.

I’ve got a couple of reference projects in the works that I’ll publish in PDF format this year. The first is unofficially titled “A Reference for 1:64 Scale American Street, Highway and Interstate Signs.” The second is unofficially titled “A Reference for Southern Trees.”

I’m planning to release the signs reference in March and the tree reference in September. I’m going to have to enlist some help in editing the references, so, I’m not announcing an exact release date just yet.

I’ve got a lot of 1:64 scale projects in the works I’m calling Project 2068. This is a long term, multiple diorama project exploring a dystopian world set in the year – Im sure you guessed it – 2068. I’ve got several posts upcoming that will detail the history and lore of Project 2068 as well as three short stories – The Remains of Spring, Ambient Light and A Murder of Pawns – that I plan to release later this year.

Also expect to see a lot of 1:25 scale cars and gunpla on BoondockBight.com this year.

My posting schedule for 2023 will be project updates every Wednesday and a 1:64 scale post every Friday. I’ll also be posting history, lore and other interesting tidbits for Project 2068 every other Monday.

Thanks for taking an interest in BoondockBight.com and be sure to follow me on Instagram @boondock_bight.
